If we are like most Americans, we have some type of "clutter" that needs to be addressed.  As busy women and leaders we don't have time to let clutter slow us down. The November branch meeting of the Hingham Area AAUW will deal with the topic of clutter in their meeting titled, "How to Declutter Our Space and Our Mind."

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 14, in the Whiton Room of the Hingham Public Library at 66 Leavitt Street. Participants are advised to arrive by 7 p.m., to allow time for questions and answers.

The guest speaker will be Patricia McPherson, a professional organizer, who will discuss what clutter is, the types of clutterers, why we should organize and practical organizing tips, followed by specific questions or issues from the audience. As owner of Orderly Manner, with a web site at www.orderlymanor.com, she also writes and speaks about organizing and has been featured in local newspapers. Patricia holds a bachelor's degree in Management, an MBA, and is a teacher and homemaker.

The meeting is free and open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. The Hingham Area Branch of AAUW represents woman from all areas of the south shore.

AAUW seeks and welcomes new members who hold an associate or equivalent, or baccalaureate or higher degree from a qualified educational institution. Undergraduates may join the branch as AAUW student affiliates. AAUW members believe in the power of education to change women's lives. They also recognize that women's education means not only attaining higher degrees, but also becoming financially literate and daring to take risks in order to grow. The group encourages learning throughout their lives and helping others - both around them and far away to reach their potential.
