CHANGES IN GOVERNANCE
BYLAWS for
new organization and governance are being drafted now, for presentation at Biennal Meeting (national convention) June 26 – 28, 2009
in
Bylaws will
offer guidelines for intermediate entities such as state organizations and
branches, encouraging far greater flexibility.
Current 10 regions will no longer exist.
Meanwhile,

support for AAUW initiatives:

MA’s
collaborative withdrew despite liaison’s strong efforts

pay equity, WAGE projects – nearly all N.E. states involved

Applications
for one- year term beginning June 2008 on Bylaws,

Policy, and Resolutions committees are due May 15,
2008.
